Upcoming HR Seminar to Address How to Detect & Prevent Serial Murder in Hospitals In August, HASC will present an HR seminar entitled "Detecting and Preventing Serial Murder in Hospitals," which will offer strategies for preventing murder and assault in the clinical arena and discuss how to collect evidence if a crime is suspected.

NLC - Los Angeles Scholarship Program Three scholarships, each for $1,000, are now available from the Nursing Leadership Council-Los Angeles. One scholarship will be available to a student enrolled in an AD program, one to a student enrolled in a BSN program and one to a student enrolled in an MSN program. The applicant must be from Los Angeles County. The application period is from July 1, 2008 through September 15, 2008.
